The Kingston Railway Bridge is a railway bridge over the River Thames in London . It is on the Kingston Loop Line , a suburban line from Waterloo via Wimbledon to Shepperton . East of the bridge is Kingston Station in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames , west of the bridge is Hampton Wick Station in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames . The bridge was opened on July 1, 1863 by the London and South Western Railway . Today trains from the South West Trains operate here .
