The Kino.net AG (proper spelling KINO.NET AG ) is an independent Swiss film production company based in Zurich . The company was founded in 2008 by filmmaker and producer Steff Gruber . The company emerged from Vérascope Films , founded in 1989 .

Kino.net AG is divided into the three areas of production, sales and world rights and a production and post-production studio. The focus of the activities is on the realization of independent cinema and documentary films as well as video art. In addition, the company offers to take over the tasks of distribution and the world rights of the films produced. The third division is the comprehensive technical equipment of the company's own production and post-production studio.

In addition to an HD editing suite, Kino.net AG has the most modern digital recording equipment for picture and sound. Devices are also available that allow the playback and transfer of almost all recording formats.
