Cinema program awards from the City of Munich
With the cinema program awards of the City of Munich , committed film theaters with artistically and socio-culturally valuable programs are awarded annually . The City of Munich is paying tribute to the important role that program and art house cinemas play in the city's cultural diversity and wants to make a contribution to securing the livelihood of these companies.
Six prizes of 5,000 euros each are awarded annually. The jury for the Starter Film Awards selects the winners . The cinema program awards are awarded in autumn together with the starter film awards.
