KK Kintetsu Express ( Japanese 近 鉄 エ ク ス プ レ ス , Kabushiki kaisha Kintetsu Ekusupuresu , English Kintetsu World Express, Inc. , short: KWE ) is a Japanese air freight company or air forwarder . The company is a subsidiary of the Kintetsu Railway Company . Since 1969, KWE has built numerous branches around the world.

The company has its origins in 1948 when the Kintetsu railway company received IATA approval for the air transport of freight and passengers - the Nippon Tourist company (now Kinki Nippon Tourist ) was founded in 1955 for passenger transport . In 1970, the cargo transportation division was spun off as Kintetsu Kōkū Kamotsu KK ( 近 鉄 航空 貨物 株式会社 ). In 1989 the name was changed to Kintetsu Express.

In 2015, Kintetsu Express took over the Singaporean APL Logistics .
