Kin'ya Matsuura

Kin'ya Matsuura ( Japanese 松浦 欣 也 , Matsuura Kin'ya ; * 1938 in Obihiro , Hokkaidō , Japan ) is a Japanese composer .

He completed his studies at the Asahikawa School of Hokkaidō Kyōiku Daigaku . During his activity as a teacher he was actively engaged both as a composer and as an arranger. In 1996 one of his works was set as a compulsory piece for the All Japan Band Contest and that can be found not only in the Florida Bandmasters Association Concert List , but also at competitions in the USA and Europe .
