Kionix products are also used in the automotive, industrial and healthcare sectors.

history

Kionix was founded in 1993 with the focus on silicon-based micromechanical acceleration sensors. In November 2009, the Japanese semiconductor company Rohm Co., Ltd. Kionix.

Products

Kionix supplies microelectromechanical sensors such as 3-axis acceleration sensors and yaw rate sensors ( gyroscopes ) including a mixed-signal interface semiconductor component that processes and evaluates the sensor data. Kionix products and technologies include:

  • Acceleration sensors in the low- g or mid-g range with one, two or three axes;
  • Yaw rate sensors for the x, y or z axis
  • Power management options and self-test functions
