Kiowa Gordon

Kiowa Joseph Gordon (born March 25, 1990 in Berlin ) is an American actor and member of the Hualapai tribe . He was best known for his role as Embry Call in New Moon - Till (s) lunchtime .

Life

Gordon was born in Berlin , where his father worked at the time. He grew up in Arizona and attended Cactus Shadow High School in Cave Creek , Arizona. Gordon is the seventh of eight children (Mac, Sean, Aaron, Josh, Cheyenne, Sariah, Lakota). His mother, Camille Nighthorse Gordon, is also an actress.

In 2009, Gordon played the werewolf Embry Call in New Moon - Till Noon , based on Stephenie Meyer 's novel of the same name . Gordon said he was discovered in the church by author Stephenie Meyer. She thought he would be perfect as a werewolf. He signed up for a free casting and got the role as Jacob Black's best friend, replacing his predecessor Krys Hyatt (who played the Embry in Twilight - Till (s) dawn ). He recently finished work on the third installment in the Twilight series, Eclipse - Bis (s) zum Abendrot . He also played the role of Brad in the horror thriller Into the Darkness . In 2011 and 2012, Kiowa starred in the final flick of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga Breaking Dawn .
