Rebelow Church

The Rebelow Church is a listed church building in the Rebelow district of the Spantekow municipality in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district . It belongs to the Spantekow parish in the Pasewalk provost of the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in northern Germany .

An earlier church existed in the village until the first half of the 17th century, it fell into disrepair from 1620. In 1892 a new church was built in historicizing forms. The church was renovated at the time of the turnaround .

The brick building has a recessed polygonal apse and a lower transept . The side walls of the nave and west tower are structured with pilaster strips and friezes . The three-storey tower has a rectangular floor plan and a helmet with a pyramid roof . Inside there is a wooden barrel vaulted ceiling .
