The Sophienhof Church is the parish church in Sophienhof, a district of the town of Loitz in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district south of the Peene . The churches in Kletzin and Ückeritz belong to the evangelical parish of Sophienhof .

Duke Barnim I of the Duchy of Pomerania donated the church patronage over the church of St. Pankratius , in the place then called Cirbrezin , to the Ivenack monastery . After the introduction of the Reformation, the patronage passed to the respective sovereign.

The church was built from field stone on a rectangular floor plan. Structural changes were made in 1766. There are stepped buttresses at the corners and to the right of the south portal . There are three segment-arched windows on each side . The roof of the building cleaning is on the east gable hipped .

Inside the church has a flat beamed ceiling. A panel from 1707 shows Jesus Christ in Gethsemane . The organ was built around the middle of the 19th century in the workshop of Friedrich Albert Mehmel .

There is a free-standing belfry in the churchyard .
