The Church of Vriescheloo is an Evangelical Reformed church of the Protestant Church in the Netherlands in the Dutch village of Vriescheloo in the municipality of Westerwolde ( Groningen province ).

history

The single-aisle hall church was built in 1717. It replaced a previous medieval building that was destroyed in 1672 by the troops of the Bishop of Münster . The tower with a clock from 1679 was completed in 1842. Until then, the bell was hanging in a wooden bell tower.

In the interior there is a notable pulpit from 1560, which probably comes from the older church.

organ

The organ was built in 1993 by the organ builder De Wit. The instrument has 23 registers on two manuals and a pedal . The actions are mechanical.
