organization

The organization of the church district is based on the rules laid down in the constitution of the regional church (Art. 39–65).

The highest organ of the church district is the elected for six years circle Synod . Unlike in other church districts, however, there is no superintendent in office here , but a governing body, which has been chaired by the Biesenthal pastor Christoph Brust since 2014. Together with the district church council, the college exercises supervision over the employees of the church district.

Two district youth officers and a district youth pastor coordinate youth work in the parishes of the church district.
