The Steinfurth church ruins are located in the Steinfurth district of the Karlsburg municipality in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district .

The three-bay nave , mainly made of field stones , was built like the west tower in front of it at the beginning of the 14th century. The ship was apparently flat. The recessed choir with a straight east end made of brick probably dates from the middle of the 14th century.

In 1664 the church tower collapsed, destroying the building. Since then the church has been in ruins. The center of the parish was then moved to Zarnekow.

Remains of the tower, parts of the masonry of the nave and the stepped triumphal arch have been preserved from the church. Parts of the southern wall of the choir still exist with small pointed brackets in front of the pillars that supported the vaulted ribs.

Next to the ruins is the Steinfurth burial chapel , the former burial chapel of the von Bismarck-Bohlen family.
