Church service in the world of work

The Church Service in the World of Work (KDA) is a working group of regional church institutions of the Evangelical Church in Germany . It is represented by 117 regional offices nationwide in twenty regional church offices.

The KDA links social, economic and socio-ethical issues. The KDA has the task of accompanying and supporting people in the working world in their Christian existence and in their responsible work in business, economy and society, especially in the social and socio-political area. In 1995 the KDA was awarded the Hans Böckler Prize . The office is based in Hanover . The KDA, together with the Working Group for Crafts and Churches (AHK) and the Federation of Evangelical Workers (BEA), form the Evangelical Association of Churches, Business and Workers (KWA).

The chairman of the board has been the Provincial Social Pastor Michael Klatt, head of the KDA of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover , since 2014 .
