The Kirchsee is a lake in Holstein Switzerland . It is located in the Preetz urban area in the Plön district . The original settlement area of Preetz and the city center are on its west bank. There is also the Preetz town church, after which the lake is named. The Kirchsee is traversed by the Schwentine, which flows in from the south from the Lanker See .
