Kirk Pitman (born December 13, 1981 in Tauranga ) is a former New Zealand beach volleyball player and current coach.
Career
Kirk Pitman has played beach volleyball internationally since 2001. From 2004 to 2012 he competed with Jason Lochhead on the FIVB World Tour . The two New Zealanders took part in world championships four times in a row, with their best placement being a ninth place in 2009 in Stavanger .
Pitman has been the coach of British beach volleyball player Zara Dampney , to whom he is engaged, since 2013 .
