Kirn is a district of the municipality of Ering in the Lower Bavarian district of Rottal-Inn .

location

Kirn is located about six kilometers northwest of Ering am Kirnbach in the Isar-Inn hill country .

history

Kirn formed a chairman and belonged to the Ering rule. When the tax districts were formed in 1811, Kirn became part of the Münchham tax district and when the community was formed in 1821, it became part of the Münchham community. It remained with this until the incorporation of the Münchham community into the Ering community on January 1, 1971.

In terms of church, Kirn was originally a branch of the parish of Ering. In 1772 the Expositur Kirn was formed, which in 1803 was assigned to the Münchham parish. In 1894 the Expositur was elevated to the status of an independent parish in Kirn.
