Kirstin Kares

Kirstin Kares (born May 28, 1960 ) is a German musician , music teacher and conductor . She was best known as the founder and director of the Hof-Capelle Carlsruhe , with which she recorded several CDs of music on historical instruments. In doing so, she made a particular contribution to rediscovering the works of the composer Joseph Aloys Schmittbaur .
