Kisara Sumiyoshi (born March 8, 2000 ) is a Japanese freestyle skier . It starts in the moguls disciplines, contained moguls and dual moguls.

Career

Sumiyoshi started the World Cup for the first time in February 2016 in Tazawako and finished 23rd in the Moguls and 16th in the Dual Moguls. At the 2016 Junior World Championships in Åre , she came 17th in the Mogul and 16th in the Dual Moguls. The following year she came fourth in the Moguls and Dual Moguls at the 2017 Winter Asian Games in Sapporo . In 2017 and 2018 she became Japanese champion in dual moguls and in April 2018 she won the gold medal in moguls at the junior world championships in Duved . In the 2018/19 season she won silver in the Dual Moguls and gold in the Moguls at the Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk and bronze in the Dual Moguls at the 2019 Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco . At the season highlight, the 2019 World Championships in Park City , she finished 21st in the Moguls and 11th in the Dual Moguls. In the 2019/20 season she came in nine World Cup starts, six times in the top ten and thus reached eighth place in the Moguls World Cup.
