Kita-iwa Jima ( Japanese 来 た 岩 'Northern Rock Island' ) is a small island off the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It belongs to the Flatvær archipelago and is located about 300 m north of Iwa-zima in the northeastern part of the Lützow-Holm Bay .
Japanese scientists named it in 2008.
