Kiyoto Furushima ( Japanese 古 島 清人 , Furushima Kiyoto ; born April 3, 1968 in Kumamoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Furushima learned to play soccer on the school team at Kunimi High School . He signed his first contract in 1987 with Fujita Industries (Bellmare Hiratsuka). The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . In 1988 he reached the final of the Imperial Cup . At the end of the 1989/90 season, the club was relegated to Division 2. In 1993 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . In 1994 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club. For the club he completed 87 games. In 1996 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . In 1998 he moved to the second division Omiya Ardija . In 1999 he moved to NTT Kumamoto . At the end of 2000 he ended his career as a soccer player.
