The Kizahashi Beach ( Japanese き ざ は し 浜 Kizahashi-hama , German 'step beach ' ) is a beach on the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located at the head of Osen Bay on the Skarvsnes Peninsula .
Aerial photographs and measurements by a Japanese Antarctic expedition carried out from 1957 to 1962 were used to map it. The US Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names transferred the Japanese name from 1972 three years later in a partial translation into English.
