Osen (Norwegian for outlet ) is a bay on the Prince Harald Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . This lake-like body of water lies on the eastern bank of Lützow-Holm Bay in the northern part of the Skarvsnes peninsula and opens up to Byvågen Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who also gave it its name, mapped it using aerial photos taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
