Kizzy
Kizzy (actually Kizzy Yuanda Constance Getrouw ; born March 14, 1979 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch singer , songwriter , actress and presenter .
life and career
Kizzy is the daughter of a Surinamese father and an Antillean mother. At the age of four, her parents immigrated to Curaçao in the Netherlands Antilles in the Caribbean.
In the years that followed, Kizzy took part in several musicals and plays and won various awards. In 1997 she recorded her first CD (Lamu Lamu) and in 1998 she joined the German label "TMP".
Kizzy graduated from the Berklee College of Music Conservatory in Boston and lived in Boston for 11 years. In the United States, she hosted her own TV show. In 2009 she went back to the Netherlands .
