Kjeller

Kjeller is a Norwegian town about 20 km east of the capital Oslo . It belongs to the province of Viken and the municipality of Lillestrøm .

Some of the most important Norwegian research institutes are gathered in Kjeller in a short distance. The Norwegian Military Research Institute (Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt (FFI)), the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE), the Telenor Research Institute (Telenor Forskning og Utvikling (TFoU)), the Institute for Air Pollution Research (Norsk institutt for luftforskning (NILU)) and Akershus University .
