The Kladara Beach ( Bulgarian бряг Кладара Brjag Kladara ) is a 2 km long and in the Antarctic summer unsnowled beach on the southwest coast of Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It forms the southern shore of Yankee Harbor and to the west through the base of Provadiya Hook , south through the Oborishte Ridge and eastward through the mouth of the Solis Glacier limited

British maps were made in 1822 and 1968, Chilean in 1971, Argentine in 1980, Bulgarian in 2005 and 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named the beach in 2010 after the fortress of Kladara in southeastern Bulgaria .
