The State College Klaipėda ( lit. Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija ) is a state university in Klaipėda , the third largest city in Lithuania .

history

The college for economics and technology was founded in 2002 after the merger of three schools such as:

  • Klaipėda Higher Technical School, Klaipėdos aukštesnioji technikos mokykla (1959–1965 Klaipėda Shipbuilding Technical College , 1965–1991 Klaipėda Political Technical College )
  • Klaipėda Higher Agricultural School, Klaipėdos aukštesnioji žemės ūkio mokykla (1946–1963 Laukai Technical Center)
  • Higher Agricultural School Kretinga , Kretingos aukštesnioji žemės ūkio mokykla (1915–1930 housework and girls' school for household)

In 2013 there were 670 employees.
