Klaus-Jürgen Kamprad

Klaus-Jürgen Kamprad (born November 27, 1962 in Schmölln ) is a German musicologist , publisher , music producer and editor .

Life

Kamprad grew up near the Thuringian city of Altenburg . From 1985 to 1990 he studied musicology at the University of Leipzig , which was followed by research studies at the Musical Instrument Museum at the University of Leipzig from 1990 to 1993.

In 1993 he founded the publishing house Klaus-Jürgen Kamprad and since then has published books on music and classical CDs on his label querstand .

Kamprad is a distant relative of IKEA founder Ingvar Kamprad .
