Klaus-Peter Kantzer

Klaus-Peter Kantzer (born June 7, 1935 - † December 19, 2017 ) was a German chemist and manager .

Life

Klaus-Peter Kantzer was at the 1962 Technical University of Berlin with a thesis on metal gas equilibria of the systems copper-oxygen and copper-oxygen-sulfur doctorate and began his professional career the following year in the main laboratory of Schering AG . In 1989 he became a deputy member of the Management Board of Schering AG and a year later a full board member with full power of representation. In August 1994 he moved to Berlin Stadtreinigung as chairman of the board , but left the company "at his own request" in February of the following year after disputes about the planned restructuring of the company.

The University of Leipzig appointed Kantzer honorary professor for technical chemistry . His grave is in the Bornstedter Friedhof in Potsdam .
