Klaus Synagogue in Prešov

The Klaus Synagogue in Prešov , a Slovak town in the Prešov district , was built in 1934/35. The secular synagogue at 32 Okružná Street is a protected cultural monument .

The synagogue building was built according to plans by the architect Leopold Šafran and served the Hasidic community with its Sephardic liturgy as a place of worship.

The building is rented as an office by the Jewish community.
