Adlan Aliyevich Abduraschidow ( Russian Адлан Алиевич Абдурашидов ; born July 31, 1990 in Grozny ) is a Russian boxer of Chechen origin.

Career

In 2009 Abduraschidow took part in the light welterweight (up to 64 kg) for the first time in the Russian men's championships, but was eliminated in the quarterfinals. In the same year he won the gold medal at the European Student Championships. He beat Denys Berintschyk , Ukraine (5: 1) in the semifinals , and Onur Şipal , Turkey (6: 3) in the final .

At the Russian championships in 2010, Abdurashidov was eliminated in the round of 16. In 2012 he started in the lightweight (up to 60 kg) and promptly reached the finals of the Russian championships. In this he faced Dmitriy Polyanskiy, whom he had to admit defeat with 16:13 points.

At the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan , Abdurashidov won the gold medal. In the final, he beat the Uzbek Fazliddin Gʻoibnazarov with 2: 1 judges' votes. In 2014 Abduraschidow again reached the final of the Russian championships and was again subject to Polyanskiy.

In 2015, Abduraschidow started both the European Championships and the World Championships for Russia, but retired early on both times. At the European Championships he was defeated by the Georgian Otar Eranosyan (3-0) and at the World Championships by the Brazilian Robson Conceição (3-0).

World Series of Boxing

Abdurashidov fought for the Russian team in the World Series of Boxing since 2010 . In the 2012 season, Abduraschidow reached the individual finals of the World Series of Boxing, but was defeated in this by the Mexican Juan Pablo Romero.

In the 2015 season, Abdurashidov won five out of six fights, finishing third at the end of the season. He qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games .
