Klaus Brankamp

Klaus Bernd Brankamp (born August 29, 1939 in Düsseldorf ; † February 27, 2007 ) was a German mechanical engineer and entrepreneur.

Live and act

He completed his studies in 1965 with the diploma examination. Two years later he received his doctorate and in 1970 his habilitation . He completed the entire academic path of education at RWTH Aachen University .

At the end of the 1970s, a state project for the promotion of process control and measurement in production on machine tools was started by the RWTH Aachen University. In doing so, Brankamp took the idea of ​​the tachometer to a higher level in machine tools.
