Klaus Martin Burger (born August 7, 1958 in Mengen ) is a German politician ( CDU ) in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .

Life

Burger attended elementary and secondary school in Hohentengen and later passed the secondary school leaving certificate. He then attended the commercial vocational school in Saulgau and left it in 1977 with a degree as a banker . After his military service from 1977 to 1978 in Dornstadt , he worked from 1978 to 2002 as a banker and branch manager. In 2003 he became branch manager of the Biberach-Sigmaringen farmers' association, and in 2011 he became district manager there.

Burger is married and has three children.

politics

Burger has been a local councilor in Hohentengen since 1994 . There he has also been deputy mayor since 1999 and chairman of the CDU community association since 2002. In 2009 he was elected to the council of the Sigmaringen district. Since 2012 he has been deputy chairman of the CDU district association in Sigmaringen. On July 3, 2012, Burger moved up for the resigned Tanja Gönner as a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg, where he represents the constituency 70 Sigmaringen .
