Klaus Corcilius

Klaus Corcilius (* 1966 ) is a German philosopher .

Life

From 1996 to 2001 he studied philosophy and Greek in Hamburg and Dublin . From 2001 to 2006 he completed a doctorate at the Humboldt University in Berlin . From 2005 to 2009 he was a research assistant at the Humboldt University in Berlin . In 2008 he was a professor at Concordia University . From 2009 to 2011 he taught as a junior professor for ancient philosophy at the University of Hamburg . From 2011 to 2016 he was Associate Professor of Philosophy, University of California at Berkeley . Since 2016 he has held the chair for ancient philosophy in Tübingen .
