Klaus D. Bornemann

Klaus D. Bornemann (* 1949 ) is a German photographer and writer .

In his novels Bornemann repeatedly examines the effects of social fluctuations on individual self-image. His photographic work also finds an echo in his novels. In addition to the narrative level, Bornemann repeatedly builds up different levels of reality between which the characters in the novel move. Bornemann uses ceased characters , which are fictional characters that are initially structured in a complex manner and introduced into the plot, but are then only secondary characters.

Bornemann lives and works in Duisburg .
