Zhu Zhi

Zhu Zhi (朱 治), majority name Junli (君 理; * 156 ; † 224 ) was an officer of the Wu Empire at the time of the three kingdoms in ancient China.

He entered Sun Jian's service early and participated in the fighting against Dong Zhuo .

After Sun Jian's death, his son and successor, Sun Ce, became an officer under Yuan Shu . He ordered Zhu Zhi to go to warlord Xu Gong as an advisor . Zhu Zhi later betrayed his new master and handed over his territory to Sun Ce.

After Sun Quan became the ruler of Yangzhou , Zhu Zhi was appointed Minister of War and Army Inspector in 202. In 223 he was given the title General Guarding the Kingdom and Lord of Gu Zhang . Zhu Zhi died the following year.

Zhu Zhi had no biological children, so he adopted his nephew Shi Ran . This inherited the titles and offices of his adoptive father.
