Klaus-Detlev Holzborn

Klaus-Detlev Holzborn , also Klaus-D. Holzborn, is a German author and railway photographer .

Life

As a child, Holzborn founded the "Pfiff-Klub Gambrinus" for young railroad fans and began taking photos of steam locomotives at an early age.

Holzborn works as a journalist for various railway magazines. From 1977 to 1981 he was publisher and editor-in-chief of the Eisenbahn-Revue, which was published by Verlag für Technik und Handwerk, Baden-Baden. In 1982 he published the Modellbahnen magazine in his own publishing house . He has also been working as an author and photographer for the magazines Eisenbahn Magazin , Märklin Magazin, Eisenbahn-Kurier and Eisenbahn Journal for many years .

Holzborn, who now lives in Braunlage , wrote several railway books. He mainly uses his own photos for his publications.
