Michèle Battut (born October 27, 1946 in Paris , France ) is a French painter , lithographer and sculptor .

life and work

From 1964 Michèle Battut studied at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris with Roger Chapelain-Midy. She has had exhibitions around the world since the mid-1960s.

Michèle Battut has received numerous awards and is represented in important collections around the world. Since 2003 she has been an official painter for the French Navy .

Michèle Battut's pictures impress with their level of detail, reminiscent of photographs. Her themes are urban and natural landscapes, with the sea being a preferred theme. Animals are rarely seen, humans not at all.
