Klaus Dieter Reichardt

Klaus Dieter Reichardt (born July 14, 1954 in Hockenheim ) is a former German politician ( CDU )

He was a member of the Bundestag from 1994 to 1998 and a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg between 2001 and 2011 . Since 2006 he has been chairman of the “Big Cities” group of the CDU parliamentary group in the state parliament and between 2001 and 2011 deputy financial policy spokesman.

After studying Protestant theology and history at the Kirchliche Hochschule Neuendettelsau and the universities of Munich, Vienna and Heidelberg, he initially worked in the food industry in a prominent staff position. From 1986 to 1992 he was press spokesman for the Baden-Württemberg Minister of Agriculture and Deputy Prime Minister, then head of the central office, including the press office of the ministry, and in 1994 he was the ministry's representative in the Baden-Württemberg state representation at the federal government. From 1994 to 1998 he was a member of the German Bundestag , where he was a member of the Defense Committee , among other things responsible for the defense policy connection between Germany and North America as well as Germany and Scandinavia and for the subjects of food, clothing and NBC protection . Since 1997 he has been the owner of consulting firms, including the Reichardt GmbH industrial and association consultancy.

He was a member of the executive committee of the German Defense Association from 2004 to 2011 and has been a member of the Baden in Europe Association since 2006. V. He has been a Rotarian since 1997.

In 2011, the Adama University in Ethiopia appointed him an adjunct university professor for economics (master’s course). He also teaches insurance business at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University and supply chain management at the Mittelstand University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. Furthermore, he works scientifically with a focus on leadership and management, also public business and international topics, in particular Russia and the former Soviet Union as well as Africa. Klaus Dieter Reichardt holds lectures, seminars and lectures on these topics.

For health reasons, Reichardt resigned his state parliament mandate in March 2011.

Klaus Dieter Reichardt is married and has four grown children.
