Klaus Eisenmann

Klaus Eisenmann (* 1940 ) is a German conductor and music teacher.

Eisenmann studied at the Mannheim University of Music with Richard Laugs and Hans Vogt . He then got a job as a répétiteur with conducting duties at the Nationaltheater Mannheim under the direction of Horst Stein . He worked as Kapellmeister in Darmstadt and Lübeck and was General Music Director of the Pforzheim City Theater from 1978 to 1997 . There he worked with soloists such as Peter Rösel , Paul Badura-Skoda , Rudolf Buchbinder , Gerhard Oppitz , Edith Peinemann , Rainer Kussmaul and Heinrich Schiff . He has also appeared as a conductor with the Stuttgart Philharmonic , the Southwest German Philharmonic Konstanz , the Württemberg Philharmonic Reutlingen and the State Philharmonic Irkutsk .

Eisenmann has been a lecturer in conducting at the Mannheim University of Music since 1981; from 2002 to 2004 he was also director of the opera school. Since 1997 he has worked as a permanent guest conductor with the State Opera Danzig, the Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonie Lodz, the State Opera Lodz, the Stettin Opera, the Wroclaw Operetta and the Johann Strauss Orchestra Budapest. Since 2002 he has been the director of the Stamitz Orchestra Mannheim.
