Klaus Fuchs (historian)

Klaus Fuchs (* 1966 in Pforzheim ) is a German historian and politician ( AfD ).

Fuchs studied history at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . From 1997 to 2004 he was a lecturer in German and German history at two Lithuanian universities. He headed the European Studies Center at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas . His focus is the history of Lithuania in the interwar period .

He lives and works in his hometown Remchingen . He is involved in the compatriot of the Germans from Lithuania .

In 2015, as a signatory of the Erfurt resolution, Klaus Fuchs was deputy spokesman for the AfD district association Pforzheim / Enz. He is currently a speaker for the AfD parliamentary group in the Stuttgart state parliament in the social and cultural committee. In addition, he has been a district councilor in the Enzkreis district council for the AfD since 2019.
