Klaus Hopfstock (born June 2, 1962 ) is a German football player and coach .

Career

Hopfstock played from July 1, 1982 to June 30, 1983 at the Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach as a stopper and played five Bundesliga games during this period. He had to end his career prematurely in 1984 at the age of 22 due to a serious knee injury.

Since July 1, 2009, Klaus Hopfstock has been coaching the Hessian club FC Alemannia Niederbruch , which was then playing in the Limburg-Weilburg regional league.

On April 15, 2011, FC Alemannia Niederbruch announced the separation from Klaus Hopfstock after the club had sealed relegation from the Limburg-Weilburg regional league to the A regional league.
