Klaus Kremper

Klaus Kremper (born March 29, 1962 in Kamp-Bornhofen ) is a German manager .

Life

From 1981 to 1983, Klaus Kremper did his military service as a reserve officer candidate in the Army Air Defense Force . Today he is a major in the reserve trained as a commander of an anti-aircraft combat unit, later as a military attaché. At the same time he studied mechanical engineering (diploma, 1987) in Koblenz and industrial engineering (diploma, 1990) in Paderborn.

He received his PhD in economics (mathematical economics / game theory) at the University of Trier in 1993. rer. pole. PhD and researched a. a. in Paris and at Yale University (USA). He initially worked as a division manager for DaimlerBenz Aerospace until 1996 . a. as Head of Sales for Daimler-Benz Airport System in Far East Asia. From 1998 to 2000 he headed the Aeronautics Business Center in Munich. In 2002 he became a board member of DB Cargo responsible for railway operations, where he has been in charge of the modernization of the loss-making state-owned company since 2000. In 2003 he took over the management of Railion Germany . (today again DB Cargo) In 2005 he was appointed to the Executive Board (Group Management) of Deutsche Bahn and at the beginning of 2009 handed over freight transport to his successor. After several consulting projects (including European railways, diocese of Mainz), he moved to Knauf Interfer as deputy chairman of the board at the beginning of 2012 . In summer 2012 he took over the chairmanship of the board, modernized the ailing company and brought it back on course for profitability. At the beginning of 2016 he founded the Particon Industrie Holding , which existed until 2018, as managing partner to develop companies.

Klaus Kremper supports social projects and is involved in the Catholic Church.
