Klaus Krinner (born December 6, 1938 in Straßkirchen ) is a German inventor and entrepreneur.

The entrepreneur, based in Straßkirchen in Lower Bavaria, invented the one-rope Christmas tree stand in March 1989 . His company is a pioneer in ground screws , which Krinner uses specifically in the construction of photovoltaic ground- mounted systems, and has registered more than 100 patents. The Gänsdorf solar field , the most powerful PV system in Germany in 2009, was initiated by him.

The municipality of Straßkirchen awarded Krinner the Golden Citizen Medal in 2014. In December 2019 he was made an honorary citizen of Straßkirchen.

Klaus Krinner is married and has two sons.
