Life

From 1999 to 2003 he worked in the Milchstrasse publishing group , during which time he founded the weekly business magazine Net-Business, which was discontinued in 2001. This was followed by a stint at Axel Springer Verlag and Condé-Nast-Verlag , each as editor-in-chief for new developments.

Various start-ups

From 2004 to 2007 Klaus Madzia worked for the Georg von Holtzbrinck publishing group , where he founded the daily newspapers News Frankfurt and BusinessNews , which he also ran as editor-in-chief. During this time Madzia was also editor-in-chief of a development group for the company that wanted to establish a free daily newspaper in Germany together with RTL Television and the Norwegian publisher Schibsted . These plans failed due to the strong competition from Axel Springer Verlag and the German regional daily newspaper publishers. He then appeared as the founder of the online future portal Next247.

In August 2016, Madzia was hired as Editorial Director for C3 Creative Code and Content , but left the company almost a year later for FischerAppelt in order to then - surprisingly for the industry - announce his entry at Ströer , where he became “Head of Giga .De / Technology & Entertainment “is working.
