Jochen Diestelmann

Jochen Diestelmann (born June 3, 1922 in Darmstadt , † January 20, 1983 in East Berlin ) was a German actor .

Life

Jochen Diestelmann studied acting with Mathias Wieman and Martin Hellberg . After his return from the Second World War , he played in theaters in Hanover and Munich . At this time he also began working in film, radio and dubbing.

In 1955 he came to the GDR and became a frequently used supporting actor for DEFA and German television .

Diestelmann also occasionally worked as an assistant director, for example for Horst E. Brandt (1968 for the three-part TV series Krupp and Krause and 1970 for KLK at PTX - Die Rote Kapelle ), for Egon Günther (1973 for the three-part TV program, Education before Verdun ) and Egon Schlegel (1977 for the fairy tale film Who is going to run away from the devil ).

His wife Hildegard Diestelmann (1920–1989) was also an actress, their son Stefan Diestelmann was a well-known blues musician in the GDR.
