Klaus Marschall (* 1971 in Ibbenbüren ) is a German author.

Life

Marschall grew up in the village of bowl and studied mathematics and chemistry in Münster after graduating from school . He works full-time as a teacher in a vocational college in Arnsberg in the Sauerland .

In 2013 he wrote and published together with the former drummer of the band Trio Peter Behrens his autobiography "The Clown with the Drum", which was followed by an extensive reading tour through Germany. Marschall received the German Biography Prize for the work in 2014. In 2015, the biography of the former drummer of the Bavarian band Spider Murphy Gang Franz Trojan “Main thing loud!” Followed .

Marschall wrote the first novel entitled “The Vanity Cruise” in 2017 together with Frank Katzmarek . The work was published by Telescope-Verlag in 2017.

In the anthology "Bördeweit" published in 2018, Marschall contributed the text "It doesn't always have to be Jakob", which tells of his walk from Soest to Bielefeld.

In 2019, the book "Mok Man!", Created in collaboration with the organizer Malte Jochimsen, joined. in which the history of the concert series "Culture on the Halligen" is described.

Marschall is married and lives with his family in Soest .
