Klaus Messerschmidt

Klaus Messerschmidt (* 1953 in Wiesbaden ) is a German lawyer with secondary employment at various universities.

Life

From 1972 to 1978 he studied law in Frankfurt am Main , where he passed the first state examination in 1978 . From 1978 to 1982 he completed his legal preparatory service and was employed as a research assistant at the University of Frankfurt am Main . In 1982 he passed the second state examination in law. From 1982 to 1987 he was a research assistant at the professorship for public law, economic, financial and environmental law at the University of Trier . After graduation in 1986 to Dr. iur. by the Faculty of Law in Trier due to the dissertation supervised by Michael Kloepfer "Legal Issues of the Collection of Environmental Charges" with an overall grade summa cum laude and the habilitation in 1998 with the thesis "Legislative discretion" at the Law Faculty of the Humboldt University in Berlin , he was authorized to teach fall in love with the subject "constitutional and administrative law as well as financial law" From 1998 to 2000 he represented professorships for public law at the Law Faculty of the TU Dresden and at the Law Faculty of the Humboldt University in Berlin . From 2001 to 2003 he was a lecturer at the EuroFaculty of the University of Riga . From 1999 to 2008 he was a private lecturer at the HU Berlin. He has been a lawyer in Zweibrücken since 2007 and has been an adjunct professor at the HU Berlin since 2008 . In 2009 he was appointed lecturer for special tasks at the Chair of Tax Law and Public Law at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg .
