Klaus Rapp

Klaus Rapp (born January 13, 1952 in Pforzheim ) is a self-employed offset printer and former politician ( REP ).

Klaus Rapp did an apprenticeship as a printer in Pforzheim. In 1981 he founded his own printing company in Pforzheim.

Since 1989 Rapp has been a member of the Pforzheim and Enzkreis district association of Republicans . In 1991 he became district chairman, he sat on the REP state executive from 1992 to 2007, and from 2001 to 2007 as deputy state chairman. From April 5, 1992 to May 31, 2001, Rapp was a member of the state parliament in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg with a second mandate in the constituency of Enz . In the state elections on April 5, 1992, he achieved the highest number of votes of all 70 REP candidates in Baden-Württemberg with 17% or 14,648 votes, also in the state elections in 1996 with 15.4% or 13,063 votes. From 1992 to 2001 he acted as deputy group chairman. He was economic policy spokesman for the REP parliamentary group from 1992 to 1996, and then from 1996 financial policy spokesman. From 2003 to 2009 Klaus Rapp was a member of the municipal council of the city of Pforzheim. Since leaving the municipal council of the city of Pforzheim in 2009, he has withdrawn into private life and given up all party offices.
