Klaus Rauber

Klaus Rauber (born July 13, 1940 in Magdeburg ; † March 31, 2017 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After completing a mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Dresden as a graduate engineer Klaus Rauber worked from 1970 to 1990 as a lecturer in construction engineering at the Engineering School Eisleben . In March 1990 he moved into the freely elected People's Chamber via the list of the Halle district of the CDU . After reunification he became a member of the German Bundestag on October 3, 1990 , from which he resigned in December of the same year. From January 1991 until his retirement in 2005 he worked in the Ministry of Culture of the State of Saxony-Anhalt , where, as a department head, he made a significant contribution to the development of vocational training.
