Klaus Teichmann (born November 17, 1954 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Teichmann played for the 1980/81 season with VfB Eppingen in the 2nd Bundesliga . He got three goals. He made his debut in Germany's second-highest division on August 5, 1980, the first day of the match, in the 2: 3 away defeat against FSV Frankfurt . The midfielder scored his first Bundesliga goal in a 1-1 draw against FC Augsburg on matchday five. During the first and only second division season of VfB Eppingen, Teichmann was an important pillar of the team. Besides him, it was goalkeepers Volker Gebhard and Erwin Rupp , who also played 37 games and thus only missed one each. With only seven wins in 38 games, the club was relegated from bottom of the table. At the beginning of the 1980s, Teichmann then moved to VfR Heilbronn , where he played in the Oberliga, the then third division. In 1984 he was relegated to the Württemberg League .
Trivia
After the end of his active career, Teichmann appears irregularly for the traditional team of VfR Heilbronn .
